Is Paliomonastiro suitable for any type of event?
Yes! Our private venue is suitable for weddings, engagements, christenings, birthdays and anniversary parties. Any celebration you can think of.
What is the capacity?
We can cater for up to 300 people when using the outdoor and indoor areas. During inclement weather the capacity may be reduced if only the indoor area (capacity of 140) can be used.
What is the venue like?
Paliomonastiro is a traditional Cypriot stone building situated in large grounds with landscaped gardens surrounded by natural rock hills and indigenous trees. The building houses a bridal dressing room, meeting room, fully equipped bars, indoor seating and entertainment area and restrooms. The outdoor space offers some unique characteristics including a waterfall and separate decorative water feature bordering the ceremony area. A large deck sits on top of landscaped gardens, offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding countryside.

Yes - we can accommodate civil ceremonies in the ceremony area of the main venue.

What is the bridal dressing room?
This is a unique facility we offer to the bride. A home for the day. The bride and her party of close family and friends can use this large private room to have hair and makeup done, get dressed and have some pre-wedding fun. The room is air conditioned and has sofas, a dressing table, mirrors and an ensuite WC. There's plenty of room to hang dresses and store belongings. The room is a short walk from the ceremony area , saving you time and reducing stress.
